During a Yahoo! chat with JJ Cramer of TheStreet.com, I approached him with the question of AAPL (Some may remember that he bashed Apple as 80's technology a few weeks back) and its resurgence, when compared with the crash CPQ and DELL and other PC boxmakers have taken.

Cramer said that AAPL had "not gotten enough credit" from stock analysts due to most of them using Wintel, but did not disparrage the stock this time -- as I reminded him it was near a six-year high.

Hopefully it will put AAPL in the back of his head so we can see some more institutional buying of the stock as we head toward 60...

I'll post this part of the transcript once it is available.

louismg1999 asks: Cramer: For months analysts could not see the CPQ crash coming, just like many missed the jump in AAPL, which is near a 6-year high. Why are profits not seen as good quality in PC stocks?

Creme_Delacramer: I don't think it is fair to talk about what happened to Compaq. The company was less than truthful with analysts and investors. AAPL doesn't get a fair shake because most stock investors are WINTEL based.
