to: FlatTaxMan from: truedog The math thing I was referring to was the calculation of my age now, had I been old enough to serve during WW2.I also thought that I was responding to GUSTAVE which came from not looking at who the response was from. I admit that was a foolish error. It was,basically, peace time while I was in the service and the "cold war" was going on. My unit was alerted for combat during the Berlin Wall crisis but nothing ever happened that needed our participation. TD
