(NYSE:WPI - news) said on Wednesday it will launch before the end of September sales of its generic nicotine gum for people trying to quit smoking. The Corona, Calif.-based company said its gum, the generic equivalent of SmithKline Beecham's (quote from Yahoo! UK & Ireland: SB.L) Nicorette Gum, will be sold over the counter in two-milligram and four-milligram dosages. Watson did not disclose the price of the gum. Total 1998 retail sales for Nicorette exceeded $250 million, according to Information Resources Inc. ... ... ... ==================================================================== I didn't see a word "manufacture"...
