Thanks Gottfried...appreciate the info...just discovered something new...something has happened to my security settings and active x controls...went to windows update page and was denied access...could not initialize scan for installed apps..told me I needed to change security settings to medium...already set on medium...lowered settings to low..same result...very irritating...sure wish I had followed advice on this thread and had some image program so I could return to the days of my @!**%$#(&^% computer working for me instead of against! Whew...feel better now TheÇow
