When I read your post this morning I almost started to. Then I looked at the post count. I've always had this visceral resistance to resuming any conversation that is more than 200 posts past, especially when the topic is of less than general interest. Not to mention the groaning weight of the in-box, which even now demands attention, and the repeated power cuts (a rainy-season specialty), and the vain quest to have the generator repaired, and... maybe I should consider moving back to the first world. I consider that now and again, then I remember that I'd have to give up the hired help, and paddle my boats in cold water, and all that other stuff. I end up staying. Gone native, as you say.
