Buzzz off with that PG stuff!

A more interesting question is how about AHP, MRK, and LLY? For 13 straight days LLY is down. I have buy signals all over the place on them, but why does LLY continue and where is the turn around spot. This is worth a LOT of Money/BONES in MGs terms! JMHO

Hello Berney RE: PG EPS Q#2

I use Yahoo for stock quotes and then click profile for access to a wealth of historical info links. They show EPS of 55 cents for quarter ended Jun 30. However, I show earnings of 414 million with shares outstanding of 1,328 million which by my calc gets ~31 cents. PG also paid a 28 cent dividend which if totaled comes to 59 cents(perhaps net to 55 cents with adjustments?). Question to our FA expert...when earnings per share are reported are dividend payouts included? I would assume so but not entirely sure.

I must have looked at 100 stocks this weekend and could find little to buy. Would have liked puts on the nutz but their premiums are just way out of line. With most of the key leaders in that sector testing their 1999 lows, I feel certain that some will fall thru (And its a loooonnnggg way down to support levels of 1998 ) (^_^)

Got mild buy signals on XIRC, QNTM, and SAP. QNTM ran up before splitting into 2 NYSE tracking stocks Tuesday. I found this a bit odd since that would mean QNTM would be leaving certain index funds (COMPX etc.) and thus would have to be sold by those index fund managers. I already own XIRC and would like to marry some more(not a one night stand). SAP on the other hand seems a trading play.

The most intriguing buy on radar for me now is MSFT. It always bounces its short term MA off of the long term MA on the weekly charts . Got a daily chart MACD buy on it last nite. Also, its on sale at ~15% off which historically has never been a bad medium to long term entry for MSFT. Only minus I see is OBV weak. Looking to step in this afternoon if we get a selloff. Take that up elevator with leaps & calls :-) and join Gersh.

INTC's strength is really amazing and accomplished with big volume yesterday 37 mill vs 24 mill avg. This in part leads me to believe that the nutz may break off and fall away from the other techs rather than drag them down.

Just my 2c
Happy trading(If you can find some targets)
