True enough, although I would say that the ordinary way of consolidating corporate power is through cartelization, but I still doubt that governments would surrenders so much power, or that businesses would be able to collude to the extent necessary. Dividing markets and setting prices to avoid the full effects of competition has limits...OPEC discovered, for example, the limitations of cartelization as a means of putting political pressure on Western governments as countries like Venezuela began to cheat, followed even by some of the Arab countries, because of the temptation to undercut the world price and reap windfall profits....
