Hello, thread.

Datek provides tremendous fills these days, even in the first minutes.

However, be sure that you have your order placed at ISLD, and bet a lot.

Make use of the aftermarket! It can be a powerful tool to get stocks at real discounts. ...And it is commish free in August, so it is also good for quick takes. And it lets you short on downticks.

Thanks all who responded to my query on bad fills.
I still feel Datek ripped me off, as a market order in a highly liquid stock (SUNW),which is not behaving unusually, should get filled QUICKLY, not 3 minutes later.

I wonder what the SEC thinks about 3 minutes to process a market order . . .
