I read the Barbie/Hot Wheels article a few days ago.

If I had young kids who were interested in themes, I doubt I would plunk money into a computer with those themes. It just goes against my sense of good judgement.

It is as if GIRLS=Barbie and BOYS=Hot Wheels in computers, in life, in whatever. Doesn't sit well with me.

If Mattel wants to sell computers without themes, just generic computers bundled with all the TLC software, that is a better idea IMO.

I will probably be proven wrong. MAT looks like it is nearing its 52 week low and might have a run up to $ 28 or so, but sales of toys are DOWN. Population of those who use toys is DOWN.

This computer deal looks a little desperate to me, but what do I know?
