LOL!It is true that the Fascists were anti-clerical in the beginning, but Mussolini made peace with the Vatican out of political necessity. The Falange, in Spain, remained theoretically anti- clerical, but were coopted by Franco. If they wanted to serve in his Cabinet, they had to work with Catholics (Franco himself was basically a traditional dictator). The Nazis were anti- Catholic, but moderated it out of deference for popular sentiment in Austria and the Catholic states.In fact, underlyingly the Nazis were anti- Christian, accepting a crude version of Nietzsche's critique of Christianity, but afraid to attack it head on.....
