Today is a good example of why I don't daytrade. I said a few days ago that I thought there was more upside than downside to my predicted range of $88-$92 for NT. What happens-- it drops to under $84 today. For reasons I don't understand, the market has seemingly reacted negatively to the specifics of the manufacturing reorg/spinoffs.

Does anyone have a sense of whether the specific financials of the deal(reported at $400MM gain, before the added costs of retraining, severance, etc) are less than previously expected? I cannot correlate today's price action with the information I have seen. Anyone else out there have a theory?

As an aside, I do believe I understand the impact of the NT "dividend". My post was lamenting how much time was being spent on all the boards by others who were concerned/confused. I was soliciting NT IR feedback so as to lay the issue to rest and move the discussion to other areas of NT. By the way, I still have not heard back from NT IR.
