I'm afraid your vision of the future is a bit clouded That's funny, you have no idea what my view of the future is. I don't like the initial propositions of standards. Seems overly complicated. It will take several iterations before a balance is reached between the best interests of the Music industry and the buying public. Every time I see a price of $17.99 for a CD I feel like I'm getting reamed. The entrenched music establishment wants to keep the gravy train rolling. I think the public is saying enough is enough. My view of the future is blood running in the streets. Music will flow from artists directly to buyers, cutting out the middleman.
