Okie dokie

I bet the NYSE BP drops again today. Over 7% drop in three weeks is pretty fast. I think that says something impressive and very important. Eeek.

Ms. X, Good points. The typical "divisor" factor of DJIA stocks, owing to stock splits, is about .25. Thus, a 10 pt. positive on Union Carbide accounts for about 40 points of the DJIA today. Without the DOW buyout, this would be just a so-so day for the DJIA.

Cheers!
