OT: Gentlemen and Ladies, this is my second post here. I've had two PM's inviting me elsewhere (source not to be named) but I choose to decline those notices.

I pretend to be an investor, I do not pretend to be a gossip or even a listener to gossip. My reading is extensive on many topics, but I do the choosing....and I chose this thread for the MSFT information I hoped it might contain.

I'm not expecting a rah-rah MSFT love-in. MSFT faces big challenges.
It's PC dominance is by no means at an end, and it will continue to prosper in that part of it's business for many years to come. The challenges are to reinvent itself that it will do as well in new markets. I don't know much about what's it's doing in that (those) area(s), what it's chances for success might be....you get the idea.

There is thus, ample opportunity for this thread to contribute much to what investors understand or expect or surmise about the company. The topics I listed earlier do little to advance that understanding, in fact, they impede it.

I was hoping to find a tighter focus than what's here now.
