It is astounding. But I think it's coincidence. One little nobody can't move 12% off the stock, with Merrill and Fidelity among the largest holder and supporters.

Are we all set with our other data points? BLS, products, etc?

Someone is pushing this down, you can see it even without level 2.

Sprott securities are net buyers of RIM!!!

Call your broker to confirm this. Sprott is house 73. They are recommending that people sell the stock and yet they are net buyers in the past 7 trading days. Overall, it looks like people are pannicking right now but the company has a good product. Buy now and put an stop loss at $17 US. IMHO. I am not happy with Sprott though.

I just read the full National Post "Sprott" article. The portion pertaining to RIM was just a minor mention at the end of a bunch of stock recommendations. It was made back when RIM was still over C$35, and probably closer to C$40. It certainly does appear that Sprott wanted to to pick up more RIM, just at more attractive prices. They're probably loading up right now, as the evidence seems to confirm.
