Tim While I realize that you are an expert on mining sometimes you have to dig deeper when you are conducting dd(no pun intended). Tim, many thanks for posting that info. Santa Maria is incorporated in California, so I'm in the process of checking out the current status of SM. On Edit: I just pulled this from GB's HTML link: BUSINESS WIRE -- JULY 13, 1999 -- "Orex announces Letter of Intent to acquire 2 mining companies. Orex will acquire the Santa Maria Mine and Mill,substantial reserves of moderate grade gold oresubstantial high-grade reserves of uranium, vanadium, mining equipment, contract mining agreements as well as a current contract with Phelps Dodge (NYSE PD). Sounds like a current operation from the press release, funny no one's heard of them.
