At Ameritrade and Accutrade, the inets have higher maintenance requirements (50% vs. 30%) but are still marginable, subject to the usual restrictions on stocks under 10 dollars, fresh IPOs, etc. The limits are stricter at Discover and Schwab, though I think AOL is marginable at both places. I don't know what, if any, restrictions are placed on hedge funds.

On CNBC they just said Mary Meeker came out with a negative report today on the nets. Well, at first they said "very negative" and then explained that it meant a weak 3rd qtr and strong 4th qtr (leaders only). Anybody know what was actually in the report? Doesn't sound too earth shattering if thats really what it was.
