A friend on the "Street" called to say he thinks institutions are letting traders burn and will step in when they're charred beyond recognition.

Brutal world.

And Pisani's inane comments --- like fingernails down a chalkboard --- didn't help.

Ah well, if investing in technology were easy I probably wouldn't do it.

Seems to me a pre-annoouncement affirming that they will meet targets would be appropriate, given the uncertainty out there.
I'm speculating that they will come just shy of expectations, but not sufficient enough to "warn". That is in the abscence of any news this week.
