let us keep this very simple folks. take a look at the YTD curve for MSPG and AOL. almost identical. nothing is going on here that is specific to a single stock. the whole group is hit. the internet is here to stay and both AOL and MSPG are not trivial players. they will both recover over the coming month to six weeks and stabilize at around 50 for MSPG and 130 for AOL. afte that the 3Q results will determine the hi-lo for the next cycle. traditional TA is not easy to apply in this case.

so fasten your seat belts, have a stiff drink, and wait it out.

Shafik, if I knew what was going to happen I would be very rich and probably not sitting here writing this message. :-)
I do have a lot of reasons for thinking the market overall will correct rather hard over the next month or two. And, as it went up in a parabolic move, I expect it will punish us more than we think now as the correction develops. When it does bottom out, I expect to be able to buy some very good stocks at low to reasonable valuations and make some good money on the way back up. Mindspring will be one of them. I do think, however, that the stock is destined for the low teens before this correction ends. I hope I am wrong...No, I don't. I want to buy it there!
