I consider "zero sum games" gambling. Some people break the bank, most people lo$e. You may be the supertrader whose making a killing off of NEM but for most people trading NEM is as likely to make them money as lose them money(more likely lose, because its zerosum, and you are a more experienced player). Gold will never appreciate like say msft, but on some days its a good hedge...
