Unlike times past, AMZN is currently VERY EASY to borrow. I was told I can short as much as I want, and others have told me they are being told the same at their brokerages. So AMZN is no longer a "tight" stock that can trap the shorts at a moments notice. It appears that the float has expanded significantly in the past six months. Which makes sense.
