Microsoft To Hackers: Crack This!

In an attempt to burnish its tarnished network security reputation, Microsoft issued an open challenge yesterday to the hacking community. The company placed a web server running the latest beta of Windows 2000 and IIS outside its firewalls, and invited the public to go after target file and user accounts.
