I don't know anything about the convertible issues, but I'll attempt to answer some of your other questions.

The Phase 2/3 trial of CPX, the cystic fibrosis drug, should be done with by the end of the year (originally it was supposed to be the end of summer). Since it has orphan drug status it could get pretty quick approval if the trial results are good enough.

My own view of their science regarding Zadaxin (thymosin) in the hepatitis B & C trials is that it definitely looks like it's decreasing viral load. However, I do not know why they didn't measure levels of hepatitis B surface antigen more frequently. If I recall in the one study that I think they measured it, it did not decrease while other viral parameters diminished, including viral load. Maybe early in the infection a load of B surface antigen is synthesized, stored, and released slowly over time (all this is my own hypothesis and probably wrong) so that there was not enough time in that trial for it to diminish. In the studies where they did liver biopsies they showed less liver scarring and histological damage after treatment. I thought they should have done more of these studies.

Their web site is:
sciclone.com

Sorry this response took so long.

Regards,
Harold

As for your question #2, in the recent conference call it was stated that a new website will be on line within 45 days at most. You can hear that at wallstreetnewscast.com
