OT BS and such, I think the 2 thread solution is great. I share Ramsey's (hope the apostrophe is right) frustration with mindless posts when I don't have the time to sort through them. By the same token I enjoy the serious investors that like to have fun, Maurice & Lindy are a couple of my favorites. During normal times I think all could be included in one thread, but what the hell, if we need to have more structure for some this works. I love it all, when there is time I even read yahoo, raging bull and the fools. SI is definitely tops. When you lose (not loose) your sense of humor, you've lost everything. Pete

Maurice, this thread is famous for going off topic but I never imagined that I would be the off topic topic. It does feel kind of funny to be welcomed to this thread. None of you old timers ever welcomed me, after posting on this thread for almost 3 years. So a welcome from a newbie is better than none I suppose. As for a sense of humor (humour for your benefit), now that is a tough one. I did not know that I lost it so it may be tough to find what I have not lost. I read through the following again and am not sure where humor is banned? Subject 29581 How could anyone confuse off topic one liners with humor is hard to figure. By the way, you are really pushing the envelop with your rants on the SERIOUS NO HUMOR QC THREAD so you better cut it out. Ramsey ps Thanks to those with kind words.
