i have only done a few tapes. i have a 35 minute drive each way to work. i have liked it so far.

I listen to books on tapes frequently.
I spend so much time in my car between
the commute to work and the various places
I have to go for meetings, depos, court, etc.

I prefer the unabridged versions, if available.

It's an acquired taste and skill. You have to be
a good listener, if you know what I mean.

If you like to skip long descriptive passages,
it's not the right medium for you.<g>
