Straight life, What was surprising is that L M Ericsson, Telecom's incumbent supplier is not in the running for the cdmaOne network. Which is really surprising since Ericy took over the cdmaOne infrastructure division and presumably would like to get some customers. I can't think of a better opportunity for them. Maybe they'll come in at the last minute with a matching offer and keep the business. If not, it doesn't look good for them. Maybe they are full up with orders from Leap, NextWave, China and elsewhere. Mqurice
