I have been watching the market. Unfortunately, my stock portfolio seems to track the NAZ pretty closely even though it is not weighted like the NAZ. I was up 26% on the year and now i have given back 11% of that. I wrote the RMBS calls agsint the shares I have. The premium was just too great to pass up. I sold the Jan 100 calls for 19. When the stock was at 117, I wasn't too happy. Now, I have the problem of when to buy them back. They closed around 11. Down 35 points. I am darn nervous.

>The shorts covering will protect us from here.

Shorts only need to cover if they become scared or their gains are turning to losses and right now there is enough distance from highs to give them a lot of breathing room IMHO.

Since the market is weak, the only threat near term is Intel conf early Sept IMHO.
