YAH! I forgot that one! That was the one that Totally amazed me. How the HECK was that connection made to clay? Yet there they are, by the hundreds, eating the clay cliffs ~ Okay, so spose the brightest one had seen and interviewed the survivor eator of poison berries, and gone back over his whole schedule.....(even I I I can see we're already in Unlikely Territory) ~

"Well, thismorning, I made my usual stop to eat clay off the cliffs....."

[His parents and compadres have been yelling at him for years over this.....]

"......and then I tapped my beak four times ~ tap-tap, tap-tap, and I...."

Okay, so Super-Parrot LEARNS the only thing Stupid-Survivor Big-Idiot Slow-Learner Bird has done differently, from everyone else who gets breakfast WAY before him, is eat the clay cliffs.

HE, figures it out, himself, and then has the FAITH, to go eat poisonberries to prove his wild-ass SCIENTIFIC THEORIES, ~

HOW, ZACTLY, does he communicate this to the other thousand birds?

Huh?

I just makes me really mad.

"I was more amazed by the parrots that ate that clay that prevents them from being poisoned or sickened by some kind of berries... Wonder how they figured that one out --- "

The parrots probably started eating the berries and died. Wrong parrots. Another bunch of parrots who liked to eat the (mineralized, salty clay) then ate the berries that the wrong parrots weren't around to eat. They lived because the minerals neutralized the toxins in the berries (Stupid berries didn't understand they had to be eaten and excreted by living birds to spread).

It's called natural selection.
