On this subject I was surprised not to see anyone discussing SUN's new MAJC (Magic) chip on this thread. I admit that details are scant at this time but if the architecture lives up to the hype who knows. I think the right choice of PDA tech in your cell phone may prove as important as the fact that its CDMA in the near future. I hope QCOM has not buried itself in too deep with Mr. Softee that promising new chips for PDAs from MSFT competitors would be hands off. Don't get me wrong, Mr. Softee has deep pockets and is a good partner to have, but QCOM isn't where it is by promoting inferior tech. I know MSFT is dedicated to improving CE, and they will finally get it right, but will it be obsolete when they do? back to lurking Claude (rhymes with TOAD)
