We'd better watch out, given this is the serious QCOM thread, but ... in answer to a few of your thoughts :

I use the term "peon" happily. I know almost NOTHING about electrical engineering, yet I am "allowed" to participate in a business venture run by perhaps some of the best minds ever in the history of electrical engineering.

Sounds like a good deal to me ! (Especially when QCOM is still priced dirt cheap in comparison to many of those "great" growth companies that never grow any more (KO, G, DIS, PG ...))

Regarding Wall Street not giving proper recognition to the value of QCOM's OmniTRACS division -- I would suspect that if this goes on long enough, Qualcomm will just spin it off to QCOM shareholders as a separate publicly traded company. (Then, most probably, the experts on Wall Street will sit with their hands folded while OmniTRACS stock falls to some absurdly low level (like Leap Wireless did), so that all of us can scoop up some more shares.

Jon.
