You are right and also note UK will be unloading more gold, not
sure on the amount but I dont think they will be done until they get rid of 5 or 6 billion worth, so goes the gold hedge.

OT Jim, RE: Don't let gold fool you, it's not an indication of inflation at this time. It's manipulated lower. Don't let any wall streeter tell you there is no inflation because the POG is low. Central banks are playing a smoke and mirror game.

I'm in a little different camp here. Central bankers are bankers; they may have the worst timing on the planet. I don't see them manipulating as much as I see them selling at the bottom.

After all, gold still comprises a large part of almost every central bank's reserves. If any manipulation were to take place, logic would argue that the central banks would manipulate the prices up, not down.

If that doesn't convince you, can you tell me why you think the central banks are manipulating the price of gold down?
