Barbara, FWIW, I doubt we'll see PXXI go lower from here. Today folks can pick up bargain shares in the low $7s. I suspect we're looking at prices we will not see again for some time to come. Prophet 21 is a conservative company (just check out their financials). They have a very good record of growth, they're leaders in their market, and their software is excellent. I couldn't resist, I added to my position today.

Regards - Dale

I recently noticed that the PXXI EPS estimate that is is available here at SI (through Multex Data Group) appeared to be inaccurate. I contacted the folks there and asked them to look into it. I was delighted to receive an immediate response and then a follow-up confirmation from their Director of Quality Assurance. To make a long story short, Multex found an estimate out of range and has made a correction. The change will appear on the Multex Reports on August 14th. The annual estimate will now be $0.78. (corrected from $0.90). Thank you Multex for taking the time to respond, review and correct this minor error.

Regards - Dale

Barbara, I was looking over the stock options section of P21's '98 annual report recently. 98,000 option shares were granted at levels between $8.50 and $15.25, (with a weighted average of $9.71). I suspect this provides plenty of motivation for management to increase shareholder value.
