HELP anybody
My boss at work is frowning upon me connecting my laptop to the internet via the fax machine.
I need a wireless connection, I called my cell phone rep at Ameritech and he told me it could be done but knew next to nothing about it, nothing on Ameritech's website either.
How fast (kb) is a wireless connection, will it run Q-charts and is their a website I could learn more.

Please help me before I drive my broker crazy
Perry

hi w,

i can't believe that netscape wouldn't have a way to import bookmarks. but i only see an import utility for address book and mail. it's been so long, i can't recall. maybe it's done automatically? if not, then that is a gross oversight (undersight?) on netscape's behalf. bad netscape.

:)

wily, Netscape does have a bookmark import function: BOOKMARKS|EDIT BOOKMARKS|FILE |IMPORT

I switched to IE just for a change and because I now own MSFT. :)
One thing IE doesn't have: you can't close ALL browser windows
with ONE click. Other than that, I prefer the IE 'favorites'
arrangement [except for the name 'favorites'].

As far as I know, there's no natural way to import IE favorites into Netscape. You can easily import a bookmark file, or HTM(L) file to add to your current bookmark list by using the File, Import utility from the bookmarks window, but that won't fly with IE favorites since they're held as individual HTML files (stupid idea, IMO).

That said, you can use the Export feature in Internet Explorer to export your favorites into Netscape or a separate HTML file.
