Rande... I can well understand your wish not to "spar" about the issue of you posting an "It's Free!" alarm. Your actions on the issue since then, (read "sparring"), raise questions in my mind about your reasoning processes in general. 1. Why is it so hard for folks to simply say, "I was wrong." We all go off the deep end once in a while. 2. I hope you do more DD on your stock picking than you did on this issue. 3. The unfortunate juxtaposition of your inaccurate trashing of SI and at the same time announcing, it seems, that you're leaving them after having been put down by them creates the appearance of a motivational question. I did go to the two sites you mentioned. One won't let me register another time, I assume because I am already a member. At the second, the "Free Registration" that seems to have you up in arms, it states: You've decided to join the smartest investors on the Web. I'm sure you're excited to start enjoying services reserved for our Registered Users like portfolio tracking, Silicon Investor customization, SubjectMarks, PeopleMarks and more, so we'll make this brief. Just fill out the information below, review the Terms of Use, and you're done. Doesn't say YOU CAN POST, does it, Rande? Your initial "rant" was ill-advised. Your subsequent posts, especially after I PM'ed you a couple hours ago with the info about the official SI post today, more so. Best wishes, Tom
