Yep, it did. And it may do so again. But it's getting a lot of help from Motorola and IBM this time. The track record keeps this stock dirt cheap unless and until there is solid evidence that the Athlons are being produced in quantity - but if there are close to 100,000 from Austin by the end of August, the stock may stop being so cheap.

I wouldn't expect the opportunity for a better than market reward unless I'm willing to take a greater than market risk.

(of course, fixated as I am on the memory issue, I don't worry about the processors themselves, much) :-)

We'll all know one way or the other pretty soon,

Have you seen the posts about the differences between the K6 and Athlon launch?
