Here's a little different way for IE 4.01: if you have the "links" toolbar turned on, right-click on a link button and set the properties address to file:///C:/Windows/Favorites. In Windows Explorer, find C:/Windows/Favorites/Links and rename the link to "Bookmarks". Now, you can either click on the link button in the toolbar, and bookmarks will open up in a new window, or drag and drop the button onto a blank spot on the browser window below (but not on a hyperlink), and bookmarks will open up in the browser window. I select View|List at this point, you can get more on the page. Double-click on the desired link, and the Bookmarks go away as the new page is retrieved.
