The Kearney boys have been in Texas at their parents 50th wedding anniversary. Some of us do have lives. geez...

I have been net short for two weeks and essentially didn't want to sound like kis by confessing. You can believe me or not. I covered today. I think we are close to trading on fundamentals instead of momentum. I think we get a good bounce and another test before the late fall run moves the nets up 30% to 50% higher than we are now.

the nas could get as low as 2300, but I think 2400 is more likely. The dow will see 14000 next year and the nas 3400 so I want in as much as possible at 2400-2500.

Csco will probably slip as low as 54 before we get a good move.54 will be a great, low risk price. the nets could easily lose 20% more but will be an incredible bargain at that point and could move nearly 100% by early January.

james - Like I said on July 12th, August is heck and I sold a lot.

Message 10479131

Unforunately, I didn't sell everything! I'll sell some more soon, to cut taxes in taxable accounts, and may dabble in calls. But, I don't intend to do much in the market till late October. (I hate shorting - the psychology is all wrong for me.) So, I won't have much to say here till then.

Don't confuse this with being bearish. To me the market and the businesses I invest in are two completely different entities. I believe in these companies totally. I'm just trying to squeeze more out of the idiot market.

Regards,
Tom
