RB's Tomscheboy makes a prediction for today: IMHO, here's what will happen tomorrow. Guaranteed!!!! READY? If there are more buyers than sellers the stock will go up. If there are more sellers than buyers the stock will go down. If there are an equal number of buyers and sellers the stock will be unchanged. If there is news from SDMI and the news is favorable to EDIG the stock will soar. If the 100 prototypes are shipped to Intel with all of the additional modifications included and this is announced, the stock will go up at least .25. If Lucent and TXN announce who the music player will be manufactured for and if a specific quantity is mentioned then the stock will go up at least .50. If the initial quantity is at least 250,000 units for 1999 and perhaps 2,000,000 units for 2000 the stock will double or triple. If Lanier announces an additional order of lets say $3 million to $5 million the stock should go up .25 to .50/share. If the major record labels announce that EPAC and MICRO OS is the preferred format for all time to come and that MP3 is for all intents and purposes dead, then EDIG will be worth more by the end of the day than MPPP will be on the same day. If Lucent, XYZ CORP., ABC CORP. IBM, TXN or someone else announces that they will be making a tender offer for EDIG at "$X" per share, EDIG will close @ "$X" + at least $3.00 per share because there will be a bidding war for the patents and the technology that will take the stock to MSFT levels. Oh if (boy am I on a roll) Bill Gates gets wind of this he may outbid them all. Yeah. Yeah thats the ticket. If all of the above occur on the same day, I boldly predict that EDIG will be worth more than the Federal Government and Alan Greenspan will step in and hold up the deal because he may want to investigate the inflationary effects of a Super EDIG. Or conversely, if Fred Falk has already talked to Greenspan, there may not be a problem after all. If EDIG announces that Alan Greenspan has decided to retire from the Fed and has decided to join Skip on the board of directors, the stock may go to infinity. All of the above may happen and even if they all were to happen on the same day at the same time, all bets are off if the MMs decide to not go along and they will try to cause a sell off in the stock by sending over an army of paid professional bashers who don't own a share, never have and never will but whose sole function in life is to cause Darwood to send them a special message.
