I have seen only a few interpretations so far, not necessarily all on the Nostradamus thread.

Essentially, those interpretations were based on some missile hitting Earth and causing worldwide catastrophes and terror.
At first it was thought the missile was going to be some errant asteroid. Later on, others thought that a comet (since it has a "tail" due to the solar wind) was likely as Nostradamus mentioned a "bearded star".

Then Comet Lee became known and soon after that Comet Lee itself, or a fragment from it (or virus-ridden debris from it), was thought to fit the role of "King of Terror" since the flight paths of Earth and Comet Lee do intersect). But that possibility was soon discounted as being remote or hogwash altogether.

Because Nostradamus mentioned a "bearded star", I believe many folks still think the "King of Terror" is going to be a comet. Is it going to be Comet Lee or a fragment from it? Is it going to be a 'bearded star' that materialises from anti-matter at the very last minute from outer space?

Frankly, I think the "King of Terror" is nothing more than the imminent total solar eclipse of August 11th at 11.11 British Summer Time. Already this yet to happen total solar eclipse has struck considerable terror in many people, including the investors on Wall Street! (Eclipses (lunar and solar) had struck much fear and terror in people in days gone by. Today lots of folks still fear the malevolent influences of eclipses.)

As the forthcoming eclipse is going to be the last one for this millennium, I believe lotsa' folks have attributed considerable malevolent influences to it. In this regard it qualifies as the "King of Terror". And quite rightly so, it seems, as the total eclipse will trigger, in astrological parlance, a particularly powerful "Grand Cross" (an evil/difficult/malevolent 'aspect') involving the Sun with the Moon (in Leo) directly opposing Uranus (14 degrees 40 minutes in Aquarius) which forms "square" (evil/difficult/malevolent) 'aspects' to Mars (16 degrees 24 minutes in Scorpio) and to Saturn (16 degrees 50 minutes in Taurus).

This "Grand Cross" is a particularly powerful one since it involves the Sun, Uranus, Mars and Saturn, all in "Fixed" signs, with Uranus in its own "House", with Mars and the Sun being "strong" in Scorpio and Leo, respectively, and Saturn in Taurus is not being in "detriment". (In this Grand Cross, Mars is directly in "Opposition" (an evil/difficult/malevolent aspect) to Saturn, and
so is the Sun to Uranus. (BTW, some folks believe that this incipient Grand Cross foretold of the terrible railroad accident in India in which 400 died.) <ggg>

To be sure, this Grand Cross will fill the masses, consciously or subconsciously, with lots of fear of impending disasters to such an extent that, for some people, the disasters become self-fulfilling.
Regarding the "King of Terror" resurrecting "The King of the Mongols", I think Nosty meant by "King of the Mongols", not Jenghiz Khan but China since China has the greatest number of the 'Mongolian' type of people. Remember, Nosty had a tendency to "veil" his refernces somewhat.

So, IF I am correct, it would appear that the total solar eclipse of August 11th is likely to trigger events worldwide that would put China in the spotlight or else make people sit up and take notice of her more and more. This is already plausible: the recent tussle between China and Taiwan, China's threat of using the Neutron Bomb, fear of China devaluing its Yuan and its repercussions on the world markets and economies, and China's morbid fear of the influence of the "Falun Gong" which is rapidly spreading, not only in China but elsewhere, (even in Canada) have certainly put China in the spotlight.

About 200 hundred years ago, Napoleon said that when the "Sleeping Dragon" (meaning China) wakes up, the world will sit up and take notice of her.
