yet it did affect the US foreign agenda (Middle East, eg) I tend to think that the positive effects were much bigger than the negative ones. Kazakhis are buying chocolate with Ms Lewinkys picture on it ! An all time high of US popularity and media presence all over the world.

You should restrict yourself for the respect of persons, IMO. It makes your audience bigger, and more motivated. Mostly this restriction can be a restriction of tone, not of melody.

I oppose your blunt labeling of truedog as "jingoist". But I am sure he can speak for himself.

Very nice you went on to say what kind of anarchist you are. I still think there many ways of being an anarchist. BTW how much Gustave is there in afaq4 ? a) written by entirely by Gustave, b) written partly by Gustave, c) read entirely and repeatedly by Gustave, d) read once in its' entirety, e) read partly, inflicted with some objections ?

Regards, MNI.

PS: I advertised you again, couldn't stop the old habit.

My first question would be,by what media do you get all of the information to satisfy your appetite for interest in American affairs? I really don't know what sources are available to you in Europe but,am certain, it has to come from some journalist of some media source. As you yourself mentioned Monicagate was sold to public opinion as a domestic affair. The problem is that the "powers that be" are always trying to sell their spin on every matter to both us and you. They, simply, cannot be believed. If you are relying on media reports to stay abreast of U.S. affairs, you are not receiving correct information or the whole story. I would have a tendency to believe a report from some other source than the American media.

As far as WASP goes, my ancestry fills that bill but I am not in agreement with such attitudes from either the past or the present. On jingoism, yes, I am very nationalistic, and might have been an isolationist with a strong enough military to kick any invader's ass back across the "pond". Unfortunately, I was too late in growing of age to stop the momentum started by WW2. I believe it is probably true that JFK was assassinated by a group with their own agenda but, doubt, seriously, it had anything to do with your WASP theory and I am in total disagreement with your blatant anti-semitism. If you stubbed your toe,you would blame it on the Jews. Such obvious bias on your part detracts from the credibility of your arguement. One theory of the assassination, which the media has fairly well kept under wraps, is that JFK's father enlisted the aid of the mafia in Chicago to swing the Illinois vote to Jack which, turned out to be decisive in such a narrow margin of victory. Then JFK turns around and sics his brother on the mafia as attorney-general. Those descendants of Sicilians were just a little bit miffed about that.

To paraphrase my dictionary's definition of anarchy, it amounts to "every man for himself". THAT would be a real fun world to live in! As for Bill Gates, you are probably right. He has nothing in common with the average American, and will probably suffer some where down the road because of it.

If you want to call me narrow minded, fine, but it is the pot calling the kettle black. You very narrow view of the right for Jews to be on this earth is petty, vicious, and not appreciated by me. BTW, I am not Jewish myself. TD

GUSTAVE JAEGER, I'm not saying you are right or wrong. I am open-minded enough to hear it. And I don't assume that the general public knows everything that goes on in the government. But the fact that material was published by American citizens doesn't necessarily give it any more credibility than if it was written by non-Americans. I personally think that if a writer does elaborate the facts, their motive would be more to make money, than because they are a member of an anti-US shadow Islamic terrorist gang. As I stated earlier, I am open to all perspectives, and mean no offense. Although some of it does seem a little far-fetched. I am not totally dismissing it. C Kahn
