Yes, after reading Poole I get the impression that the Fed may present this as the last hike of the year. They too recall the summer of 1998 and should put forth any rate hike in a responsible manner. Bond market has already factored in the hike; the stock market is coming to grips with it. Nets are not helping here. Risk is on the upside in the stock market currently as the risk that the numbers are a total disaster are minimal.
