HP and CD-RW ..Incredible!

CompUSA flier in NY Times from this past Sunday...

5 Hewlett Packard home systems pages 7 and 10...out of these 5 computers, 4 have built-in CD-RW (including one for $999! the others are $1449, $1749, and $2499) and NO ZIP. Only the one without CD-RW has a Zip drive.

Hewlett Packard seems to be replacing Zip drives with CD-RW. Where does this leave Iomega? And, is this the trend that other computer box makes will take to keep up with HP?

Replacing Zip with CD-RW? ...Bye-bye to even more IOM revenues.
