The law enforcement database holds fingerprint images. The authentication technology does not creat images; instead, it uses much less information than the image to create a mathematical model of the particular fingerprint. Although some of these algorithms are based on fingerprint minutiae, others are not . . . and none of them can be reverse engineered. Finally, the authentication side is heading toward universal encryption of the mathematical templates, which locks them up before any reverse engineering could even be attempted. Even if you wanted to argue the possibility of reverse engineering, the cost would be absolutely prohibitive to make this kind of attempt.

Like I said before, the technologies are incompatible.
