yup; i meant minor penetration of 86/120, not major...

on large volume, which implies potential bottom...

i won't be the first back in the pool, however...

Captain: It looks like the TYX and Equities are still trying to de-couple. That was the only way I can see both formations on the TYX and major Indices resolving without one or the other negating.

Of course, there is probably a way I have never considered...<g>

LG

Captain: Looks like that retrace could not materialize. The COMPX just fell through the major support area with the NYA dropping below its support as well.

The OTX fell off a cliff this AM, while the VGY continues its steady decline.

Momentum to the downside has got to start increasing "now" as long hold outs realize the bounce they have been looking for may not be coming.

Regards,
LG

I think we're seeing "flight to quality" except "quality" becomes ever more narrowly defined. It's like all the passengers scrambling to the stern tip of the Titanic just before it disappears beneath the waves. For example MSFT and KO. Look at the P/E there! If they fall they're going to fall hard.

That sounds kind of gloomy, doesn't it <gg> WDIK?
