I would like to see MSFT on the DJIA so that the index could become more meaningful, but I would guess that they add the new Dow Chemical Co. instead.

I agree it won't be AOL. I don't think it will be MSFT either, unless the baggage of the antitrust suit is resolved by then. I think INTC, CSCO, or LU have a better chance. LU has the advantage of being a NYSE-listed stock.

Free access would propel MSN into not only becoming the largest ISP but eventually becoming a key portal site. This could give Yahoo, AltaVista and others a significant downward nudge as well.
