Please don't let me confuse you with facts when you have your faith to sustain you.

The FBI files hold images. As most computer users know, images are extremely data intensive. The bio-ID commercial technologies do not use images; they are overkill for authentication purposes and way too expensive to create a mass market. Since the authentication process takes as little data as possible in storage (as little as about 80 bytes per fingerprint), you just can't turn that fragment into a restored image. It would be like trying to recreate an oil painting from a few carefully selected paint spots on the canvas.
