I think it's an over-reaction. Whatever model works for Microsoft would work for AOL.

AOL vs. MSFT

AOL has been rumored over and over that it is going to get killed by XYZ.

First it was the phone companies. Then it was MSN that was going to put them out of business. Then it was the Web itself. Then is was broadband. Now we are back to Microsoft.

Well it looks like access is going to be under pricing pressure - that is for sure. However, at $82, its discounted. Besides, the play here is monetizing subs from ecommerce and advertising. Microsoft can't do that. AOL will be back. Bought more on this panic.

IIX is now positive
NDX is now positive

Capitulation occurred in my opinion this AM.

I want to commend William on his coolness throughout this correction. He was never rude to anyone although they were egging him on.

I must say that KIS could use training in social graces.

On that note, I am off to work with my bargain basement buys.
