good call. in view of risk, what per cent is the aol you short of your total portfolio worth? why do you short rather than buy puts?

Morgan, where can I educate myself thoroughly about shorting? I've never even considered doing it except your posts make me want to learn about it. What do you consider a good "spread" when shorting (i.e. do you try to make a few points...or?). What do you consider a rally when shorting AOL or MSFT for instance?

AOL is going to be bleeding for quite a while until the sounds of MSFT's latest salvo die down. Any chance of it dipping into the 50s before it's over?

What do you think of the bounce on the Naz today? I'm thinking there's more downside to come. Is MSFT in the mid-70s likely to occur before the month ends?
