Any ideas what makes us stickier than Go and GoTo?

Go has tremendous advantage in advertising. It's owned by Disney and advertised heavily on all Disney properties including ABC and ESPN. Someone mentioned that it even shows up in a recent Disney movie. Its rich (but ugly, IMO) portal service includes all of the old Infoseek services as well as the the stuff developed by Paul Allen's former company, StarWave.

GoTo.com, on the other hand, is not much more than an Inktomi search engine. Obviously, somebody uses it, but I fail to see why. They intentionally screw up their search results by selling preferred placement to advertisers, and because it uses the Inktomi engine, doesn't really provide much value beyond what one can get from other Inktomi services like HotBot.
