IMHO, ORCL shareholders should "profit" from this cleansing of the dot-coms. Its about time investors who want to play this sector invest their capital in companies with strong market position, positive earnings, & a history of proven revenues rather than just a rather just basing their investment decission upon myopic view of ephemeral projected revenue growth.

One cannot argue that many of these dot-coms will not be around in a few years. Either they will be acquired at comparatively bargain prices following times like these, or they will simply fail miserably as the market soon realizes that 10,000 companies cannot each achieve 15% market share in the same space.

ORCL is, & always has been, a comparatively "safe" Internet bet. Hopefully, the Street will wise up to this now, & the stock can move to new highs later in the year.

JMO.
